  4. Terrible. I hate when school starts. Every year atleast one of my kids teachers have a mental illness. Screaming, yelling, telling them how awful they are. I'm so tired of it. My 12 year old came home on the second day of school a wreck because this woman carried on like a mental patient for 50 minutes. How many days until summer?

    1. What the hell kind of school are you sending your kids to? Maybe it's time to home school until your district can hire a decent teaching staff.

    3. Sounds familiar. My daughters teacher sat at her desk and cried one year because one boy was bad in the class. Another teacher told them all that their a's weren't good enough.. She didn't know why she even got up in the morning to teach if they couldn't all get 100%.... Reallyy? Sigh

  5. For the same reasons I decided to home school my daughter this year. Teachers with tenor think they can behave however they want. One almost had my foot up her ass last year. Back to the pic though... I can so relate to it. I agree anyone who sits and dissects this pic and makes it more then what it is needs a life!

  7. I cringed when I saw "tenor" instead of "tenure" from a parent so dissatisfied with her school system that she thinks she is better qualified. Not that I think the public education system is great, but home schooling where parents are not required to have any qualifications whatsoever, will create a whole new generation of children who are incrementally more ignorant than even their parents.

    1. Yes and no. There is a way to 'home-school' while kids remain in a public school system and the parents remain fully accountable for their children's attendance. Connections Academy is available in every state, I believe, and functions as a cross between the two.

  8. seriously zelda, home schooled kids have to qualify their education to the state they reside in more-so than public school students. and you should see some of the notes teachers have sent home with my kids over the years. and in all honesty, it is like i home school anyway. my 3rd grader had about 2 hours of home work a night and 5 to 6 hours a weekend with a 7 page parent packet of math *I* have to teach. yay public schools.

yes, i dont use caps or punctuation, but im a kick ass mom with awesome smart kids and polite too. because if they ever called out someone for a silly typo that was probably an auto-check mistake, id let them know how rude that is, then id proceed to eat the marshmallows out of their lucky charms as punishment.
